As with Austria, the initial issues but denominated in soldi started with a coarse printing that was later reissued for most values with a fine printing. The 2 soldi fine printing is a very rare stamp in used condition. No fine printing version of the 50 soldi was issued.

The 3 soldi green was overprinted 10 para at Constantinople and Vienna. The former overprint has PARA above the bottom level of the numerals, and is 16½ mm wide, while the latter has the PARA level with the numerals and is 15½ mm wide. The Constantinople overprint is rare.

The kreuzer issues of Austria were used for repeat printings and for further values.

As with Austrian currency issues of the period, there are a wide range of perforation variations. Those shown below have Perf.13x12½ except for the 2 piastres which is Perf.11½
